At the end of the Services, Archbishop’s Commissioner of Amfiklia, F. Diomedes Panagiotopoulos, in his sermon, noted, on the occasion of Mrs Mpekiari’s presence: “Women in the future will be grateful for the work of the Worldwide Associations of Women in Byzantine Music”, which is the first and largest membership platform regarding the female chanting, providing women chanters with significant opportunities for high-level training and artistic activities.
