SPECIALISED STUDY PROGRAMME:
HOLY SCRIPTURE STUDIES
The Holy Scripture Studies Programme is a self-contained one-year course of study devoted each year to a different theme from the Old or New Testament. The subject matter changes with each new annual course, giving participants the opportunity to explore different biblical texts, figures and topics within their historical, theological and interpretative context.
Each annual course is entirely self-contained and may be attended independently of any previous or subsequent course. Participants may therefore choose to attend only the theme that is of particular interest to them, or take as many successive annual courses as they wish.
The programme also includes guest lectures by professors of Theology and other specialists, according to the subject of each year’s thematic focus. These contributions enrich the course by bringing a range of scholarly perspectives and specialised expertise to the study of Holy Scripture.
